The Hollywood Video by my house is closing, so I went in there after I went to the gym tonight to see what they were selling, and I picked up some movies, including Julie & Julia.

Multiple people have told me that I would like the movie Julie & Julia. And let me tell you, they were wrong.

Because I do not like Julie & Julia.

Gotta love that Mitten

Morning Edition on NPR did a piece this morning about all the snow (snow-nami is the latest cute phrase for people who don't usually get real winter) on the east coast of the country. They interviewed people in New York City, who have four hours after the snow stops falling to clear it.

One guy said, "Yeah, I cleared 2 inches 5 times instead of 10 inches one time. ...I'm from 100 miles north of Detroit, so this isn't really that much snow to me."

You said it, guy.

Cinq choses

1) I wasn't going to go to yoga, because I'm congested, but then I did and felt much better after. I told David about my congestion. David told me about neti pots, which I know about, and then he told me something I didn't know which is that some yogis put salt-water-soaked gauze in their stomachs with an end hanging out of their mouths and then pull it out to cleanse...their stomachs. Yick.

2) Fettuccine noodles are so delicious. They're a little fatter than spaghetti, and I think that's the main reason.

3) Tomorrow is Friday, and I have a date with my LDR (uhm, long distance relationship) ladies. Then Saturday I have a date with my sister (who I LOVE) and her friends, one of whom I love and one of whom I haven't met but am sure I will at least like.

4) I get to see Aaron two times in one month, once last weekend, and once next weekend with Mom and Dad.

And.

5) PRESIDENT OBAMA will be giving the 2010 commencement address at...at...THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN!!! I went to school there. And I work there. Look earlier in the sentence - I was typing in caps lock I am so excited.
